Step 2: Creating a Wi-Fi Profile in the Novatel Wireless application

1. Using a USB cable, connect your MiFi to a computer.
   
2. In a browser on your computer, go to http://mifi.mlp or http://192.168.1.1 (don't add 'www' in the address).
   
3. Click Login.
   
4. In the top right corner, enter the default password: admin (unless you've changed the password)

   TIP:	If you can't remember your password, see Resetting your Novatel Wireless MiFi 2372 to the default password.

   
   
5. Click Login. You'll see the MiFi Home page.
   
6. Choose WiFi > Profiles.
   
7. From the Profile list, choose Secure.
   
   
8. Click Edit WiFi Profile.
   
9. Choose or enter the following settings:

   Item/field	Setting
   Network Name	Enter the network name (SSID) from the inside of the battery cover.
   802.11 Mode	802.11 + 802.11b
   Channel	Auto
   Security	WPA Personal/PSK
   Network Key	Enter the network key (WiFi key) from the inside of the battery cover. NOTE: If you change your network key, your wireless connection will be disabled and you'll have to reconnect with the new network key you just entered.

   
   
10. Click Apply.
    
11. Click Return to Profile List.
    
12. Click Apply on the WiFi Profiles - Set Profile page.
    
13. Go to Step 3: Connecting a Wi-Fi capable device to your MiFi.
